Jemma- 'Peacock feathers', full train'- Sept 09'
Jemma's design was the prelude to the Peacock feathers (with so many peacock feathers to be embroidered on to the skirt, practice was needed!), designed way back in early 2008, is now finally finished. Consisting of 3 pieces, a fully boned corset with straps and low back, with two peacock feathers on the front. A victorian style apron front skirt, going into a two tone pleated train, which splays out revealing over 50 graduated peacock feathers and a scattering of swarovski crystals. The final piece is a beautifully tailored victorian style riding jacket with back pleats and fitted buttoned cuffs.
