'From small acorns grow...'
Jane's stunning design was made from red/black silk taffeta, with a combination corset and sculpted sleeves.
The corset was embroidered with black work, starting with the tiny handmade acorns and embroidered oak leaves, representing the couple, with the entwined branched going up the front of the corset, representing their journey through life together, and the paths they may take.
The sleeves were sculpted to come out from the body, with hanging beaded drops coming from the edge. These were removable via lacing.
Jane had the cinderella slippers made up in the same fabric as the dress for perfect match.
